Je kunt jouw Wikitravel pagina's naar maat instellen met gebruikmaking van het web formulier [[Speciaal:Voorkeuren|Voorkeuren]]. Om dit te kunnen moet je wel eerst jezelf als [[Project:Hoe maak ik een gebruikersaccount|gebruiker aanmelden]].
De '''voorkeuren''' pagina is een beeetjebeetje verwarrende verzameling van keuzes. Het gebruik ervan is, gelukkig, niet schadelijk voor je geestelijke geondheidgezondheid. Zodra je de opties die je bevallen hebt ingevuld, moet je op '''?Bewaar?Opslaan''' klikken om te zorgen dat jouw voorkeuren ook echt worden ingesteld en bewaard.

*Gebruik geen caching: niet aanvinken, tenzij je echt problemen hebt om oude versies van artikelen te zien
