::Anyway, I prefer to translate straight from the source language if I know that language well enough, instead of through an intermediary language. DrMennoWolters (overleg) 1 feb 2014 17:04 (CET)
:::Sorry for late reply. Thanks @DrMennoWolters for translating in Dutch the Italian names for the touristic regions that we have created.
:::FredTC, you are right, not always I left comments (my big sole fault). I've added the map in all the language versions (en:voy a part because they have preferred to keep the province division ... choices). Now the answer to your question. The four areas has been designed after a quite long discussion and we haven't taken into consideration the provinces border because provinces have been created with administrative criterias. Let's take for example the Province of Brescia (that should be the biggest), it has been split into three areas. To find a correspondance with the administrative borders can be found with the township ones (1 layer lower than the province one).
:::Regarding the regionXitems we have decided in the past to eliminate this parameters from the Regionlist because most of the time are empty, so when we need to list the sub-areas we do it within the description. However in this case it's not necessary because of the above explanation.
